abcnews_auDid you know #echidnascould #swim? A big thanks to@goobersporsche and family, who shared this photo of an #echidna they rescued from the middle of#GlenbawnDam, near #Scone in #NSW. Shane Crawford said they spotted the#animal swimming about 120m out from the dam’s edge. “[It] seemed really exhausted and was swimming quite slowly,” he said. The family used a landing net to scoop the echidna up and take it to the nearest bank. The echidna rested for about 20 minutes before it started moving again.
