Magpies are common sights in our backyards, parks and just about every where we go and as a result their interaction with humans this lends them to be very trusting of us - to their determent. This sub adult is a victim of that trust and was shot with a dart gun. The caring residents of the Caravan Park in Daisy Hill (except for 1) assisted with the rescue of this maggie and is being attended to by the great vets at the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital at Wacol. Hopefully there has been no permanent damage done by this malicious act.
